MMS Sports 2016 - Badminton Tournaments

Registration

  • Early registration for Child Singles.
    Ticket price is for child of one MMS member with 2016 annual membership fee paid.
    If at least one of the child’s person is not 2016 annual fee paid MMS member, he/she must complete the due membership payments before the tournament day.
    For booking this ticket, the Member parent should register on behalf of the child and fill up Child Name in the form at the last field.
  • Registration for MMS members Ladies Doubles. Ticket price is for a team of two MMS members with 2016 annual membership fee paid.

    Non members shall be required to sign up for New membership by paying fees @ $30 per person in addition to the tournament ticket.

    If any of the registered team is not 2016 annual fee paid MMS member, she must complete the due membership payments before the tournament day.
  • Early registration for Ladies Singles.
    Ticket price is for one MMS member with 2016 annual membership fee paid.

    Non members shall be required to sign up for New membership by paying fees @ $30 per person in addition to the tournament ticket.

    If the registered person is not 2016 annual fee paid MMS member, she must complete the due membership payments before the tournament day
  • Early registration for Mens Doubles. Ticket price is for a team of two MMS members with 2016 annual membership fee paid.

    If any of the registered team is not 2016 annual fee paid MMS member, he/she must complete the due membership payments before the tournament day.

Sports enthusiasts, recreational players, and those who enjoy playing any of the games, Grab your rackets, get ready for the lanes and prepare to have plenty of fun... The Maharashtra Mandal (Singapore) Sports Tournaments are here once again.

This year we will be conducting our Badminton tournaments at Singapore sports hub, OCBC Sports Arena, Kallang.

Please note the following-

  • 1)    Tournaments are open only to MMS members who have paid the annual fee for 2016. If you have not paid the annual fee you can pay in cash on the tournament day.
  • 2)    Registration will close two days before the actual event.

You can complete event payment during event registration or alternatively send payments to via internet banking in MMS DBS Current Account Number 001-904437-5 and send an email with payment details to treasurer@mmsingapore.org

   Format of the Game

  • -    Pool of 6 teams/players per category (Second pool will be formed if more than 6 teams per category)
  • -    Knock off round within each pool (Best of 3 Games)
  • -    Top two teams in pool play final for winner and runner-up position (Best of 3 Games)
  • -    If any of the category has more than one pool
  • o   Top two players from each pool will play semifinal (Top team of each pool will play with second team from other pool)
  • o   Winners emerging from semifinals will play finals to select winner and runner position
