MMS Sports Competitions 2016-17 - Badminton Tournaments

Sports enthusiasts and recreational players, get ready for the court, string your rackets and prepare to have plenty of fun... The Maharashtra Mandal (Singapore) Sports Tournaments are here once again.

We will be conducting our Badminton tournament at Singapore sports hub, OCBC Sports Arena, Kallang.

Date : 15 Jan 2017
Time : 8:30am
Fees: 15sgd per participant per category

Categories are:

1. Singles (Men)
   
2. Singles (Women)
   
3. Doubles (Men)
   
4. Doubles (Women)
   
5. Mix Doubles
   
6. Singles - Child (Age between 10 & 14)

• Pool of 4 teams/players per category (Second pool will be formed if more than 4 teams per category)
  
• Trophies will be given to Winner and Runner-up of each category
  
• In case, only one pool is formed in a category, Round robin matches (Best of 3 Games) will be played. Top two teams will play the final.
  
• If any of the category has more than one pool -
• • Top two players from each pool will play semifinal (Top team of one pool will play second top team of another pool )
  • Winners emerging from semifinals will play finals to select winner and runner position

• MMS Membership is necessary for participating. Please renew your membership or apply for a new one at www.mmsingapore.org
  
• For kids younger than 12, one of the parents needs to be MMS Member.
  
• Registration will close two days before the actual event.
  
• Registrations are not confirmed until registration & payment is complete. You can complete payment via paypal when you register online. Alternatively, transfer fund to MMS DBS Current Account Number 001-904437-5 and send an email with payment details to treasurer@mmsingapore.org
